For our customer, a smaller Life Sciences company with a location in the Basel area, we are seeking a Marketing & Sales Manager Diagnostics:
Responsibilities:
• Report to the Head of Marketing and R&D
• Maintain and grow existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services
• Set targets for sales and provide support in order to continually improve the relationship with existing and new customers
• Systematically and regularly approach target customers in the relevant geographic areas to grow the business
• Analyze sales, customer, market and competitive data
• Evaluate market potential and support new product launches
• Drive with flexibility & execution the defined marketing strategy and tactics
• Execute pricing strategy, launch assumptions, positioning and training plan for major product launches
Requirements:
• MSc in (bio)chemistry, biology, medicine or a related field; ideally supplemented with an MBA (or other business degree)
• At least 4 years experience in marketing & sales in a Life Sciences environment, preferably within Diagnostics or Medical Devices
• Fluency in English and good German knowledge (at least level B2) is a must; other major European languages would be a plus
• Strong industry experience, knowledge of marketing & sales trends and a good network in Life Sciences
• Proven track record in marketing & sales; strong motivation to achieve ambitious goals
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to influence and establish successful working relationships with both customers and internal cross-functional teams
• Ability to perform complex assignments requiring independent decision making
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
