For our customer, a multinational Life Sciences group with a location in the Zurich area, we are looking for a Health Economics Modeller.
Responsibilities:
• Develop HE model strategy for some key brands and compounds in development of the group
• Coordinate with Global Outcomes Research and Global Market Access Teams for development of cost/value drivers, epidemiology, efficacy, and other information needed to populate models
• Manage consultants’ developing models, check results with a thorough quality control and submit/present to payers in countries, in order to support the Market Access strategy of main brands
• In a varied role, use the opportunity to work closely with Global Market Access, Global Product Teams, Regional & Local Pricing Teams, Business Development and Business Intelligence
• Develop early assessments of the economic viability of a product, using a variety of methods and techniques
• Critically appraise clinical evidence for Value Proposition and HE modelling as well as HE model structure, inputs parameters, sensitivity analyses
• Manage the development of complementary evidence with meta-analyses, network-meta-analyses and RWD studies
• Manage collection of cost data at different stages of the product developments to support HE models development
• Develop HE models for launch and post-launch activites in collaboration with the Market Access team
Requirements:
• Master or PhD in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or econometrics
• 5 to 10 years experiences in HE&OR modelling and preferably in meta-analyses and network meta-analyses (CEA, CUA, BIM, HTA submissions, network meta-analysis, Kaplan-Meyer analysis, etc., including program development and users guides)
• Experience in performing statistical/mathematical modelling using techniques such as decision tree analysis, Markov Modelling, Discrete event simulations
• Experience from either HE&OR consultancy or the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in developing HEOR strategy to support value proposition development for innovative medical products
• Understanding of global payer environment, including coverage and reimbursement, pricing and contracting, formulary management and health technology assessment
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency with software, including very strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically, challenge conclusions and underlying assumptions
• Good business sense and maturity to challenge input
• Capability to learn, adapt and apply available and new systems and tools to improve the quality of processes and output
• Demonstrated ability to successfully succeed in a highly matrixed environment, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration
