On behalf of our customer, a smaller pharmaceutical start-up group (focus on oncology) with a regional headquarter located in the Zug area, we are seeking an Associate Director Regional Medical Affairs (f/m):
Responsibilities:
• Support the commercial, market access and other departments within the region Rest of World (all countries of the world except USA) regarding oncology drugs (treatment of solid tumors)
• Actively participate/lead a broad range of medical affairs activities, including preparation support of investigator sponsored trial (IST) programs, and medical review of Medical Affairs materials and promotional materials
• Provide Medical Affairs input to the affiliate team
• Oversee the investigator sponsored trial (IST) in the region
• Participate and/or facilitate data presentation and discussion at national advisory boards and investigator meetings
• Review medical and promotional materials for scientific/medical accuracy
• Provide medical review and sign-off of medical drug information letters, slides, custom responses, publications, medical education grants, and other medical affairs materials as needed
• Serve as a physician on call to address call center questions from healthcare professionals
• Provide medical review and sign-off of promotional and sales training materials
• Provide education and trainings to MSLs and field force
• Contribute positively to a strong culture of business integrity and ethics
• Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines
Requirements:
• MD with 4+ years in academic, clinical, or industry setting required
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional major languages like Spanish, French or German would be a plus
• Experience in oncology (solid tumors) is a must
• Familiarity with GCP/ICH/FDA/ANSM requirements as well as clinical trial design, biostatistics, medical writing, product safety, and regulatory affairs
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong public speaking skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to influence and work effectively across functions and operate in a matrix environment
• Experience in LMC, LAL, LAM
• Good collaboration with key opinion leaders
• Keep an appropriate distance with practising GPs and other medical staff
• Ability to work in a start-up environment
• Interest in scientific marketing
• Willingness to take residence in the Zürich/Zug area; ability to travel appr. 20-40%
